this ep combines the veteran talents of kniteforce label owner dj luna-c, with the debut release of kniteforce radio owner, the lowercase, and comes up with something quite unique. a love for heavy beats and inspired by some of the toughest old skool around, the ep delves into the underground in a big way, throwing caution to the wind and layering multiple breakbeats and aggressive stabs together to make a wall of hard sound, just like it was back in the day.

greek label lower parts is back with a cinematic new ep from athenean artist ioannis savvaidis. influenced by his love of old school computer programming, all four tracks are live jams made with classic yamaha machinery from the nineties. form start to finish this is an absorbing ambient release that transports the listener into the world of science fiction. gently unfolding and expanding in all directions, savvaidis invites you to cut loose and get lost in your own mind. some are tracks darker and more foreboding, some are airy and heavenly, but all together the ep acts as a movie lived out in the mind.

lower parts is a greek label involved in music, fashion, art and multimedia projects and it has been since 2013. after starting by showcasing lots of local talent, next up on the label is international talent andreas gehm aka elec pt1, who gets remixed by damcase and anoplois. german andreas is an acid and techno innovator who has released on mathematics and chiwax and here comes correct with two great new cuts.

anopolis are a collective of four thessaloniki based producers coming together for their first release on lower parts. more specifically they are based in the ano poli area of the city, hence the name. from warm analog pads to screaming acid lines combined with raw beats, anopolis provides a 90s mix tape vibe with a wide mixture of styles and sounds. included is a storming remix from elec pt.1 aka andreas gehm, the minister, manager 111.

first release for the newcomer athens based recording label lower parts. tendts first ep slow years is a musical journey. a journey full of disbelief, experimentation and questions. nostalgic in the beginning, with slow chopped up beats, samples that play their part right by creating an atmosphere and suppressed bass that lie hidden in the back. as we come one step closer to reach the end of our journey the landscape starts to transform. the sound becomes a bit more static with intense need for self-criticism. melodies start moving spasmodically full of errors in a faulty random route. stacked on top of each other, they are trying obsessively to keep up with the flow until they reach climax, if they will ever do. 200 pieces cut / hand stamped labels in a printed recycled fine carton. artwork by tendts

lower east, the brainchild of cozzy d & lee brinx, returns with michael jansons brand new single *addiction*. following his debut release *i know you re feeling ok*, jansons returns with this slick new offering, stamping his authority as one to watch for 2013. title track *addiction* kicks off the proceedings and is deceptively ambient, before jansons drops in a pulsing bassline that rolls out under mizbees eerie yet classy original vocal.
*addiction* is given the remix treatment by none-other than detroit dub master marc mk kinchen. mk retains the deep, gritty and brooding elements of the original, adding his own trademark organ riffs. on the flip side *just us* deliver a more uplifting affair, with a precision bassline and chopped and cut vocal samples adding a touch of soul to give the record and overtly classic house feel.
